I have been photographing intimate weddings for over a decade all over the world. These weddings are held with close friends and family attending and are normally under 75 guests. Intimate weddings can be local or destination weddings and have a very fluid timeline. They are usually 6-8 hours of coverage throughout the week and are similar to traditional weddings with the amount of coverage and what is captured throughout the day. Intimate weddings have become more popular after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. There are numerous wedding venues around the Austin and Dripping Springs area that hosts intimate weddings like Chapel Dulcinea, Wildflower Barn, Ma Maison, The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge, Mattie's, South Congress Hotel, Desert Door, and Dripping Springs Distillery.
Intimate weddings offer a more personalized experience for the bride and groom as well as the guests on the wedding day. Though the planning effort might be the same for the ceremony and reception, the guest lists, wedding invitations, and other preparations will require less effort in a small wedding as the aim is to keep it small and intimate.
As an intimate wedding photographer, Amy is able to capture every moment so that the happy couple can have memories of their big day to last forever. Your wedding is a major chapter in your story and she is happy to help you to share it.
